Hello Kitty Sephora Apple Balm Citrus photos, review

Apple Balm ($10) Four juicy shades of rich, glossy balm provide exceptional hydration and amazing color payoff with a lipstick-like intensity. Lightweight and non-sticky, the formula is infused with Hello Kitty’s signature ingredients: Strawberry Extract, Grape Seed Extract, Apple Extract to soothe and soften the skin while providing anti-oxidant protection. Select from Watermelon (peachy pink), Gumdrop (bubblegum pink), Citrus (tangerine orange) and Violet (grape purple), each available in a collectable apple-shaped pot.

It is like a little honey pot where the top pops off and you need to use your finger or an lip brush to apply.

I am a Hello Kitty / Sephora lover so it is hard for me to say bad things about the products.  However I do find the lip balm to be slightly tacky – so it is up to the user what they prefer.

I’m one who more often leans to slight tackiness opposed to super slick, so this works for me.

There is hardly any color payoff more of a clear super shine.  But again, the packaging is to die for.  Simple as that.

The Hello Kitty Mon Amour collection is available for a limited time beginning February 2011 in all Sephora stores, as well as by calling 1-877-SEPHORA or logging on to sephora.com via computer or smartphone.
