Frida (ZP640) – Sheer teal blue jelly gloss, buildable formula

I love teal.  Especially when it is a nail polish.  I also love jelly nail polish because my nails are usually nubby enough to pull it off without having a visible nail line.

I’ll be honest though, you have to have some patience when layering jelly polish.  Between each coat you should wait a few minutes so it doesn’t pool up.

Obviously, I did not have that patience so my polish came out thicker towards the tip of my nail.

I’ve seen some really neat things done with jelly polishes such as layered over other colors or what some call “sandwiching” glitter layers in between.

You can also tape off portions of the nail to layer colors so that you still have some pure jelly sections, and then opaque or metallic on the other sections of the nail.

Overall it’s a fun polish and it’s Zoya which I love because they are BIG5FREE – all formulas are completely free of harmful industrial chemicals such as toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and dibutyl phthalate (DBP) that are known to cause cancer and birth defects.
