@sephora Mixed Metals Baked Eye and Face Palette review

I swooned when I opened this Mixed Metals Baked Eye and Face Palette from the Sephora Collection.  Something about these baked products that are so beautiful.

They have a fun effect both dry and wet.  When applied dry it is a softer look, for more dramatic metallic apply with a wet brush or fingertip.

Info from the Sephora website:

What it is:
A baked eye and face multi-palette for the season’s hottest metallic looks.

What it does:
Sephora’s unique baked formula can be used wet or dry for a sheer swipe of color or an intense, eye-catching burst. This portable palette features a range of hues for face and eyes, as well as tutorials for popular chic looks. The rigid palette features a shimmering metallic cover for a take-anywhere look that’s as fun as it is functional.

This set contains:
– 0.12 oz Blush in Dark Pink Marble/Rose Gold
– 0.12 oz Highlighter in Sandstone
– 9 x 0.04 oz Eye shadows in Uranium, Copper, Geode, Pyrite, Shale, Gypsum, Lithium, Hematite, Smoky Quartz

For me, I like to apply dry since I am in an executive leadership role.  I am obsessed with the soft, neutral shades and then using the darker shades as an eyeliner or smudging for a subtle smoky look.  I love the packaging as well, it is ideal for travel.  I can put it in a pouch with my Sephora brushes, gloss, BB cream, plus mascara and be covered for the trip. At $35 this is a great starter palette to cover your needs in regards to shadows, lining, blush and highlight.
