What it is:
An eight-hour wear, powder foundation formulated with Light Filter technology and long-lasting photoset polymers that acts as a photo filter for your face.

What it does:
Smashbox Photo Filter Powder Foundation provides two filter effects in one portable compact. It features a double-sided sponge, and it lets you create a buildable and customizable, sheer or full finish. The Light Filter Technology acts as a photo filter to leave skin looking flawless: transparent particles diffuse light in various directions, blurring imperfections while still keeping the subject in focus. Non-drying, non-caking, and non-settling, the particles in this oil-free foundation are translucent so that the pigment’s true color always comes through.

At $42 this product is available at major retailers beauty sections such as Macy’s and Sephora online or in-store.

For me this product works great.  Not too cake-y but I apply in a circular motion with a kabuki brush instead of the in-package sponge applicator.  With my fine lines forming (thanks to age) it rarely settles into the smile lines which are most prominent.  Nothing a quick buff with my finger doesn’t cure.  Since this product arrived at my home it has been my go-do for daily wear at work.  I’d be highly likely to purchase and replace once I’m out.
