@smashbox Always Sharp #smashbox #eyeliner #review

It is not because I blog about beauty (amongst other things)… but I wear make-up, including eyeliner every day.

Honestly, I seem to go through eyeliner very quickly.  Somehow I lose the good ones I love or they just don’t do what I need them to.  My eyeliner is applied to the tight line of my top lashes, and above my lash line.  I am however liner-challenged, and I cannot seem to do really cute cat eyes or neat things that the pros and even many amateurs can.  After years of practice with this blog, I thought I would have learned a trick or two by now.  But anyhow… I was really excited to try this Always Sharp liner by Smashbox.  Reason being that my sharpener sucks, which is also the reason why I have had to toss some liners that had worked for me in the past.  But the idea that I didn’t have to worry about sharpening is a fantastic thought.

These liners come in a variety of colors, some include some fine but pretty sparkle.  The appear to sharpen inside of the cap, as you twist it on and off. The formula truly glided on my skin in both areas, and left me little to try and repair after.  I used the black to tight line and the army shade of green w/gold flecks on my lid. The silver for me will be a holiday look to come… Overall the look felt put together and effortless – with truly little effort.  At twenty bucks a pop, I probably wouldn’t purchase the whole rainbow but I would definitely re-stock my as daily go to for black liner.  Smashbox for the win!
