2017 SoCal VegFest is coming to Costa Mesa, Oct. 28 & 29!

This will be my first time attending the SoCal Vegfest at the OC fairgrounds. I just ordered my early bird tickets!

3rd Annual SoCal VegFest, a one-of-a-kind non-profit event designed to engage curiosity and inspire awareness for those helping to make a difference in this world! SoCal VegFest is helping to change the world, and to have a really good time with your Tribe!

Our goal is for everyone in attendance to have a good time; vendors, sponsors, staff and attendees. We heard you loud and clear last year when you told us you wanted a better venue! This year we’re moving to The OC Fair & Events Center! We are super excited to put on an incredible 2-day festival, with lots of food and entertainment! Our venue is awesome and we have lots of fun planned for you. And this year we’re gonna need your help to make it happen!! We’re asking for a $5 admissions fee. Thank you for your continued support!! Vegan eats @ LEGOLAND California

You have options if you’re a vegan heading to LEGOLAND California. There are some salad bar options and a gluten free pasta with marinara.

Copies of this dining guide are available at the park entrance.
We opted for tofu and veggie stir fry with sticky rice for lunch. This is at Wok ‘n’ Bowl Ramen in LEGO Friends Heartlake City.

They did a child size portion for the little ones.

Then we had a snack – apple fries. They were invented here. Just order them with no sauce and you have an awesome vegan treat for the family to share!

These can be found as you walk from Castle Hill to Pirate Shores.

The best part is that everything is more accessible and affordable for a family in this park. We are quickly discussing season pass options because it is only an hour drive from Orange County and they offer payment plans. Which means more taste testing of their vegan menu!

Me, vegan?

Yes it is true.  I know I have taken quite a hiatus from blogging and life has made some amazing opportunities for our family – we are so blessed.  One lifestyle change has been the decision for us to transition to eating vegan.  I will be writing again soon, sharing new things, so please be open that my mindset may be a little different than it used to be.  Thanks for your patience – and I will update soon!
