My daughter got some of the Sally Hansen Salon Effects, I thought her nails looked so nice. She loves doing her nails and she does a great job, I get her to pretty mine up every chance I get, because she does nails much better then I can.. I follow your posts to learn about what is on the market that works, and how to use it. Thank you for your advice. Fashion and make-up are a mystery to me, as I just wear whatever feels good on me. Low maintainance, high performance clothing which is mostly cotton, and a lip gloss about covers my idea of being ready. I am trying to learn how to use cosmetics, but at 51 I just can’t seem to get the hang of eye shadow. Need my glasses to see to apply, need to take my glasses of to apply, how??????

I wear glasses, too! I purchased a double sided mirror from Bed Bath and Beyond where one side is magnified. It helps me for when I have to apply my eye make-up which is very hard for me to do without my glasses since I am near-sighted! The mirror was about $40 I believe, but a great investment!

I use a primer Lindsay. Two of my favorites are Smashbox and Ruby Kisses. They are made specifically to hold eye shadow into place. I would give it a try!
