Cover Girl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation review

I swear.  I stared at this container of foundation for well over a week before I used it.  Why?  Because I don’t use “foundation.”  “Foundation” scares me.  “Foundation” is too thick and nasty and makes me look cakey.  Finally I tried it.  Boy, do I feel like a doofus for being SO incredibly stereotypical of foundation.

COVERGIRL & Olay combine foundation and hydrating serum to cover fine lines and wrinkles and helps hydrate to improve skin tone over time.

I used it once and was instantly hooked.  I’ve always been a huge fan of tinted moisturizer.  But this foundation provides that same moisture with a touch more coverage making my lines look filled in and my skin smooth and silky.

It comes in 14 shades and I opted for Buff Beige.  Pretty much perfect.

I also added a light dusting of Cover Girl + Olay pressed powder to finish the look off.

I’ve looked online and the product retails from $10 – $15 depending on the source.

This is a reasonably affordable price range for something that helps for someone like me, who has started to develop facial lines in her 30’s.

Overall I’m impressed.  I’d actually go buy this product for myself when I run out.
