I was super excited to pick up this OPI mini set of Nicki Minaj polishes. The colors are just so insanely cool to me. Very inspiring for two great beauty blogger things: nail art & giveaway!!!

First up is the nail art:
I used OPI Skull & Glossbones as the base color and the three solid colors from my mini set as the dotting colors. Came out very psychedelic! I freakin’ love it!!!
To do the dots I used an orange stick because I don’t have any formal dotting tools. Use what you’ve got and make the most of it, right?!

Great giveaway idea! I’m so glad OPI is making mini sets again- much more budget friendly! If I won this OPI set, I would definitely use “Fly” first as a base color, and do some zig-zags with the “Metallic 4 Life” glitter as nail art. I saw someone else do that on their blog and it looked amazing! I also really love how you did your polka dots with all 3 bright colors!

I am dying to win this set, especially since Ms. Minaj’s lyric “pink wig, thick a$$, give ’em whiplash” has become a mantra of mine. How awesome would it be to see my love of Nicki and nail polish combined in a fabulous mani?

I love this collection and have been experimenting with my MASH dotting tools. I’m no artist, but I would love to try a gradient with 2 of these colors then use a plate like Red Angel 106- leopard print using Konad in black and top it off with some rhinestones and glitter channeling some Nicki. Great blog!
